Production systems.
And the businesses around them.

Demesne is a small, senior software shop — Colby Myers as principal, with senior collaborators when scope warrants. Same hand from market thesis to deployed system: agentic infrastructure, commerce, native clients, the brand layer over the top — no handoffs between strategy, design, and code. In production: commercial-grade zero-trust at 880 Mbps multi-stream with four code-signed native clients, and a Stripe Connect marketplace generating print-ready creative. Currently in beta: a forensic-watermarking pipeline that traces leaked frames back to the originating subscriber after JPEG re-encode and screenshot.

// 4 domains
01 · agentic & ai systems

AI inside the system, not bolted to it

Models that earn their place — measurable retrieval, eval gates that fail loud, fine-tunes scoped to the surface that needs them, on-device inference where latency is load-bearing. We ship the architecture, not the API call.

02 · commerce, marketplace & payments

Money plumbing, composed

Multi-sided marketplaces, split payouts, subscriptions, usage-metered billing, on-chain settlement when it earns its keep. The shape that fights when payments, marketplace economics, and tenancy are bolted together by three vendors.

03 · platform & native clients

Native everywhere, one product

Real native clients across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android — code-signed, store-shipped, paired with the realtime backends they ride on. Including the harder cases: packet-tunnel extensions, system services, hardware-adjacent telemetry. "We have a mobile app" and "four native clients on one product" are different sentences.

About

// who you'd be working with

Principal-led with senior collaborators — solo when scope warrants, scaled when it doesn't. The hand that names the product is the hand that ships it. Same engagement covers market thesis to deployed system, no handoffs between strategy, design, and code.

Seven built and shipped, all visitable. The infrastructure piece: a commercial-grade zero-trust overlay running at 880 Mbps multi-stream (Engma, in production).

The Mob ecosystem — a three-sided DTC marketplace with print-ready AI image generation on Stripe Connect (MerchMob), event creation and discovery (EvntMob), and ticketing that scales from creator nights up to 100k+ artist dates (TktMob) — all in production, all designed to chain into a single creator → event → ticket → merch identity.

Plus a forensic-watermarking pipeline that survives JPEG re-encode and screenshot (Ownly, in beta), a race-weekend SPA pairing live telemetry with on-chain settlement against an immovable green-flag deadline (Bitcoin Racing), and brand identity + membership platform for Georgia's emerging-tech non-profit (Future Tech GA). Each one running, not in a deck.

Operational posture is non-negotiable. CI on every PR, structured logs in production, deploys gated on green main, runbook per system. Eval harnesses on the AI surfaces — Ownly's watermark survives ~87% of JPEG-Q40 + crop-25% + Gaussian-σ2 attacks across a 14-class perturbation suite. "Production-grade" is something measured, not a label.

Best fit: founders and small teams moving fast, where decisions stay with the people doing the building. AI work where the model is part of the system, tight timelines, finding product-market fit, or rescuing a stuck codebase.

What we don't take: pure-staffing roles, prompt-wrapper "AI" projects, and six-month enterprise integrations with no buyer in the room. The shop is small on purpose; ten parallel engagements would shred the thing that makes it work.
